Just had my 2nd biosciences exam...currently feeling good about not having to do anything.

I was very much unproductive today :(

Watched 6 episodes of scrubs with dave and dan (unproductive but entertaining)

Can't wait till thanksgiving break...GOBBLE GOBBLE.

Why can't I write in complete sentences?  (There we go, finally one complete sentence!)

Here are some pics of Schuyler (name of the street I live on) Boyz:

This is what you call "MALE BONDING" (starting from left:  me, john, dan, and steve).

It's already been a month since I've updated.  Wow, one month.  Time is definitely flying these days.  And what's up with this new xanga format.  It looks different.  I think I like it.  So I'm officially done with the first block of medical school.  Yes, GROSS ANATOMY is officially over as of today.  I really don't know how I survived but somehow I did, hallelujah.  And yes I've learned alot but I also realize there's so much more to learn.  It truly never ends.

So here is my summary of the first 2 months:  Ummmm studying while sitting on my ischial tuberosity hahaha.

For those of you who like pics, here are some of them.

Here is a outside-in pic of my room.  Look how neat the room is.  And no I didn't clean my room for the picture.  It's normally this clean.  My room is totally the cleanest one in the house.

DSCF0651

My handy-dandy AC.  The first thing I bought when I knew I was moving in.

DSCF0655

The shelf that's been serving as a book shelf, picture holder, and TV stand.  All in one.  Hurray, Ikea!

DSCF0652

Picture that's hanging over my bed.  When things get tough, I look at these pictures for some extra juice.  Thanks Geniebaby!

Here is where I spend most of my day...sweet spot oh yeah.

GROWING AND GOING STRONG...!!!

Sunday, August 20, 2006

went to emmanuel church, THE philly church everyone seems to know.

it was good.  pastor paul is a monster of a preacher up on the pulpit, definitely a man annointed and gifted by the Mastercraftsman.

going to a church where i didn't know a single person was a brand new experience for me.  now i am the guy who everyone seemed to recognize as the "new guy."  people asked me "what's you name?"  "where are you from?"  "welcome!"  hand shakes...smiles...small talks...so this is what it feels like to be a newcomer...i had forgotten :)

but when service began, i was back at a place where i used to be.  the place i am familiar with.  i was in the presence of my Creator.  i was home.
